The following itinerary is an example of a possible route with various activities.
It can reorganized to fit your interests, budget and schedule. It can also be combined with any of the other programs on our website.


Day 1 - Rome

Upon your arrival in Rome at Leonardo Da Vinci Airport you will be met and transferred by a private driver. He will bring you to your downtown Rome hotel. After checking in, the rest of the day is at your leisure to create your own urban adventure and form your first impression of Rome. Rest up and later enjoy a welcome dinner at a local restaurant around your hotel.

Day 2 - Rome

After breakfast at your hotel. Enjoy a full day to explore Rome "the Eternal City" at your own pace. We suggest you to visit the Pantheon, Piazza Navona, Trevi Fountain and Spenish Steps. Dinner at a local restaurant in the city center.

Day 3 - Rome - Spoleto

After breakfast at your hotel, pick up your rental car and drive north to Spoleto. After you have arrived in this stunning hilltwon of Spoleto in Umbria, the remainder of the day is free to explore its charms. Overnight in Spoleto..

Days 4/5 - Assisi - Perugia

Leaving Spoleto behind, drive to Assisi, where you will spend two days. We suggest a guided tour of Assisi to visit Santa Maria degli Angeli, birthplace of Saint Francis, (1182) Basilica of St. Francis and Church of Santa Chiara. Assisi is also renown for shopping, jewelry, lace and leather goods made on the premises.

The second day, we suggest to discover the surrounding area, particularly Perugia, an old town which was built with a perspective of the future. The main town centre is easily accessible thanks to the hidden mobile stairs which take you up 500 metres from street level, observing parts of the underground of the Etruscan and Roman foundations.

Assisi - 4°/5° Overnights


Day 6 - Siena

After breakfast at your hotel, today you will drive east across the border into Tuscany region and arrive to Siena. Here after check in at your downtown hotel visit the historic city of SIENA where you will be enchanted by the architectural styles of the cathedral and the old palace in Piazza del Campo, the venue of the famous Palio horse race held twice a year in July and August.

The remainder of the day is at your leisure to explore the town, sit in one of the many cafe to relax or discover the hidden streets of this magical town.

Siena - 6° Overnight


Day 7 - Monteriggioni - San Gimignano

After breakfast at your hotel. Today we suggest you to explore the stunning walled town of Monteriggioni one of most preserved Medieval town in Tuscany.

Later you will continue towards San Gimignano, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the most famous walled medieval hill town in Tuscany also reknown as the " Manatthan of Tuscany " due to the many towers. Don't forget that San Gimignano is also the place where the word champion gelato maker is based... so make sure to have some cash with you to spoil yourself Dinner. Come back to Siena and overnight.

Siena - 7° Overnight


Day 8 - Pienza - Montalcino - Orvieto

Today after your breakfast, leaving behind Siena you will drive south to Orvieto. En route you may stop at Pienza. This town, the jewel of the Val d’Orcia, will enchant you with its 15th century architecture and its position on the summit of the lovely hills that have made Tuscany famous throughout the world.

Next stop is Montalcino, 15 kilometres from San Quirico. This medieval town is famous for its Brunello wine and there are very many enoteche where you can taste vintage wines for true connoisseurs. In July, the Jazz & Wine Festival will please lovers of wine and music in the unique setting of the fortress. The castle conserves the outer walls, which can be visited and provide a panorama of the vineyards surrounding Montalcino.

Later, arrive to Orvieto and check in at your hotel. Overnight.

Orvieto - 8° Overnight


Day 9 - Orvieto

Orvieto is a town perched high atop a hill. Orvieto is impressively situated above a volcanic plug, which is a volcanic landform created when magma hardens within a vent on an active volcano. We suggest to visit the stunning Cathedral in Orvieto, which was built in the fourteenth century.

After your visit to Orvieto, you will take a short 30-minute drive to Civita di Bagnoregio, a small ancient village that clings to the precipice of the steep hill it sits on, a small island in an eerie sea of uninhabitable landscape that makes up the surrounding valleys.

For this reason views of Civita di Bagnoregio from across the valley are incredibly picturesque. This is also one of the most popular villages featured in post cards from Italy.

Come back to Orvieto, dinner and overnight.

Day 10 - Rome - Sorrento by train

Today after your breakfast at your hotel in Orvieto, drive south to Rome. Drop off your rental car at train station Termini and then you will take a high-speed train to Naples.

Upon your arrival in Naples, a driver will assist you in transferring to your hotel in Sorrento, your home for the nest two days. The rest of the day is at your leisure to explore this stunning sea-village.

Day 11 - Sorrento

The entire day is yours to relax and enjoy at leisure after breakfast, or perhaps to take an optional sightseeing tour to the fabled isles of Capri or Ischia. There will be a farewell dinner in one of central restaurants around your hotel in Sorrento.

Day 12 - End of your tour

Arrivederci! After breakfast at your hotel a departure transfer will be provide to Naples train station or airport for your Alitalia flight back to home.
