Days 1

Upon your arrival in Rome, our staff will assist you in tresferring to the hotel, your home for the next three nights. Your program includes the Classic Rome tour, covering most of the Eternal City's major sights. And you'll have plenty of time to go back and get the picture you missed, find that shop you fell in love with or spend another afternoon in a cozy trattoria. Optional sightseeing tours and excursions are also available.

Rome - 1° Overnight

Day 2

After breakfast in your hotel, ye'll spend much of today on the Vatican side of the Tiber River. At the sprawling Vatican Museum you'll tour the seemingly endless collection of treasures. Visit the Michelangelo's Sistine Chapel, the Vatican Museum and St. Peter Basilica, home to Michelangelo's sublime Pietà. You'll have the rest of your day free to wander through this immense church, climb the dome if you're feeling energetic, and explore the interesting market streets in this neighborhood.

Rome - 2° Overnight

Day 3

You'll spend the morning uncovering Ancient Rome. Start your tour and hear vivid tales of the larger-than-life Colosseum and the birthplace of Ancient Rome: the Forum. You'll be free this afternoon to wander through the nearby Palatine ruins, St. Peter-in-Chains Church (home to Michelangelo's Moses), — or climb to the top of the Victor Emmanuel Monument to enjoy a panoramic city view. Tonight we'll feast together at our farewell dinner, sharing travel memories and toasting new friends. Salute!

Rome - 3° Overnight

Day 4

After breakfast, there will be a morning departure to Florence by car or by rail, traveling through scenic Tuscany. This famous region is renowned for the rolling green hills and woods populated by ancient castles and, of course, for wine production. If you travel by car we suggest to stop at Montepulciano, famous for its - nobile - wine. The balance of the day is free to enjoy at your leisure.

Florence- 4° Overnight

Day 5

This mornig you'll hit the ground walking with a Renaissance tour of the city's historic center. You'll learn about Brunelleschi's magnificent cathedral dome, Ghiberti's Baptistery doors, and other creations that helped define this world-changing era. You'll end your walk at the Accademia Gallery to marvel at the power of Michelangelo's rough-hewn Prisoners and his greatest masterpiece, David. Dinner.

Florence - 5° Overnight

Day 6

Enjoy breakfast at your hotel. Discover the timeless city of Florence, birthplace of Renaissance and Italian language. Explore some of the important landmarks including the curch of Santa Croce, where the tombs of Galileo and Michelaangelo as well as the Dante Memorial are displayed; Ponte Vecchio, where you can browse its shops on both sides and on the bridge or simply people-watch as you sample tasty gelato. Tonight, join an optional dinner at the historic trattoria-style restaurant in the heart of Florence's old town.

Florence- 6° Overnight

Day 7

After breakfast, you will depart from Florence by train or drive towards Venice. Along the way we suggest a stop at Bologna for lunch. Upon your arrival in Venice, you have to leave the hire car in Piazzale Roma and transfer by taxi boat to your central hotel.

Venice - 7° Overnight

Day 8

After breakfast take an optional walking tour of this elegant city. The tour will include a visit to the St. Mark's square that is surrounded by the Duomo, the Doges' Palace and wonderful outdoor cafes, shops and many pigeons. If not, explore this fabulous city on your own. No matter how many time you've seen it in movies or pictures, nothing can compare with the enchantment of seeing the Floating city in person.

Venice- 8° Overnight

Day 9

Full day is yours to fill however you wish - you can enjoy completely at your own pace, or take advanage of the many optional excursions offered throughout your stay. The historic centre is divided in six sestieri (quarters): San Marco, Dorsoduro, San Paolo, Santa Croce, Cannareggio and Castello. Cruise the Grand Canal (Venice's main street) and see the white-domed Santa Maria della Salute baroque church before heading to the Galleria dell'Accademia, considered the city's greatest art gallery. Several optional excursions will also be offered during your stay, including a gondola ride with dinner, a half day ecursion to the islands of Murano, Burano and Torcello.
