Day 1 - London - Salisbury - 121 km

Welcome in England! Arrive at London International Airport and pick up your rental car. Leaving London behind, you will drive west to Salisbury and check in at your downton hotel. The remainder of the days is free to explore this historical city. Dinner and overnight.

Salisbury - 1° Overnight

Day 2 - Salisbury - Stonehenge - Exeter - 156 km

Early morning departure for Stonehenge to visit where you will visit the famous Prehistoric Monument, whose origins and functions are still mysterious. In the late morning after this exciting experience return to the road for the final stretch to the town of Exeter. Dinner and overnight.

Day 3 - Tintagel - Padstow - Plymouth - 220 km

This morning's drive will take you to the west coast of the Cornwall. En route you may stop at Tintagel, where you can visit the ruins overlooking the sea of a XII century castle which legend attributes to King Arthur and his Knights of the Round Table.
In the afternoon continue to Padstow, a small fishing village particularly dedicated to fishing of shellfish and lobsters that you do not miss the opportunity of a tasting at one of several restaurants overlooking the harbor. Your driving will end in Plumouth (or Tavistock). Dinner and overnight.

Plymouth or Tavistock - 3° Overnight

Day 4 - St. Michael Mount - Plymouth - 260 km

This morning you will be driving west through the Cronwall to get to St. Michael's Mount, a small tidal island, it is linked to the land by a man-made causeway of granite setts, passable between mid-tide and low water. At the center of the island stands a Castle surrounded by walls where inside lies its ancient citadel.

After the visit you will drive back along the south coast through "mediterranean" landscapes and a subtropical flora, thanks to the effect of the Gulf Stream. Return to Plymouth (or Tavistock). Dinner and overnight.

Plymouth or Tavistock - 4° Overnight

Day 5 - Wells - Bristol - Bath - 227 km

Morning departure to Wells, one of the England's smallest city but with one of the most famous Cathedrals which has its roots in Roman times. Continue to Bristol for a short city tour. Later arrive to your hotel in Bath. After check in, spend the afternoon exploring the Georgian Regency architecture such as the Royal Crescent and the ancient Roman history at the city's Roman Baths.

Day 6/7 - The Cotswolds and Stratford-Upon-Avon - 200 km

Spend the next 2 days exploring the beautiful Cotswolds landscapes passing through Cirencester, considered capital of the region, and the eccentrically named villages of Chipping Campden and Stow-on-the-Wold. Arrive in the charming, historic Stratford-Upon-Avon, birthplace of the Great Bard William Shakespeare and now home to a myriad of related heritage sites including his birthplace, Hall's Croft, Anne Hathaway's Cottage and his final resting place at Holy Trinity Church. The stunning Warwick Castle is just a short drive north.

Cotswolds, Stratford-upon-Avon - 6°/7° Overnights

Day 8 - Windsor Castle - London - 157 km

After breakfast at your hotel, this morning you will drive south to Windsor for a short visit at the royal residence. Leaving the Castle behind, you will drive to London Heathrow airport and drop off of your rental car and private transfer to your downtown hotel. The remainder of the day is free to explore this amazing urban capital. Overnight.

Day 9 - London

After breakfast at your hotel you will enjoy a optional half-day tour of London that includes visits to St. Paul's Cathedral, Buckingham Palace where you will enjoy the pageantry of the changing of the Guard, and Trafalgar Square. The balance of the day is at leisure.
