The following itinerary is an example of a possible route with various activities.
It can reorganized to fit your interests, budget and schedule. It can also be combined with any of the other programs on our website.
Upon your arrival in Venice at Marco Polo Airport you will be met and transferred by a private driver. He will bring you to your downtown Venice hotel by boat. After checking in, the rest of the day is at your leisure to create your own urban adventure and form your first impression of Venice. Rest up and later enjoy a welcome dinner at a local restaurant around your hotel.
Venice - 1° Overnight
After breakfast at your hotel, join a tour for seeing the highlights of Venice in one day, especially if it’s your first time! On this 2-hour guided walking tour you will visit the major sites, including the most famous palace in Venice: the Doge's Palace.
Lunch and afternoon at leisure.
Venice - 2° Overnight
After breakfast at your hotel. Enjoy a full day to explore Venice "the Serenissima" at your own pace. We suggest you to visit the St. Mark's Basilica and St. Mark's Square, the Bridge of Sights and Ponte di Rialto.
The afternoon is free for more sightseeing or to take the Gondola "Serenade" ride throught the waterways and enchanting canals. Later dinner in one of a typical local restaurant.
Venice - 3° Overnight
After breakfast at your hotel. We suggest to visit the islands of Murano or Burano (optional activities) and watch expert glassblowers perform their centuries old craft - producing extraordinary beautiful objects. You will surely bring some home with you!
Come back to Venice island and here there's time afterwards to explore the city on your own. Dinner and overnight.
Venice - 4° Overnight
Today after breakfast at your hotel a private transfer by boat will be provided to Marco Polo Airport for your flight to Holland. Upon arrival in Amsterdam a private transfer will bring you to your downtown hotel. The rest of the day is yours to enjoy at leisure. Dinner.
Amsterdam - 5° Overnight
Breakfast at your hotel. A good way to orient yourself to the city is with a walking tour. You’ll learn some history and be able to see where all these windy canal streets take you or, alternatively, as Amsterdam is a city tied to the water (the canals of Amsterdam are incredibly beautiful), and there’s nothing like seeing the city from a boat, we suggest to take one of a Canal boat tours.
In the afternoon you will be free for shopping, or to stroll the narrow canals before dinner in a renowned local restaurant.
Amsterdam - 6° Overnight
Breakfast at your hotel. Today we suggest to visit the two most important museums in Amsterdam: the Van Gogh Museum, may be one of the most popular tourist attractions in the city, but don’t let the crowds deter you. The museum features many of Van Gogh’s best works of art alongside an excellent biography of his life and the Rijksmuseum, the museum still features an extensive Rembrandt collection, and you’ll be able to see the famous painting, The Night Watch.
The afternoon and evening are at leisure, don't miss to visit the Vondel Park, Amsterdam’s largest and most popular park. It is a great place to walk, bike, people-watch, or relax, especially after a visit to a local coffee shop.
Amsterdam - 7° Overnight
Today after breakfast at your hotel, take a day tour to visit one of the highlights of the Netherlands, just outside Amsterdam: Zaanse Schans. It is an attraction that serves as both a museum and an outdoors conservative area. Here you can see beautiful wooden windmills, barns, houses and museums. Zannse Schans is built in the typically Dutch wooden architectural style, relocated here piece by piece since 1961.
The balance of the day is at your leisure to explore more of Amsterdam and take the Amsterdam Beer Tour. Dinner.
Amsterdam - 8° Overnight
After breakfast at your hotel a private transfer will be provided to Amsterdam International airport for your connecting flight and head back home.
